Who are we and what do we do?
Batlow Premium Juices, a 100% Australian company, owns and operates the only juicing plant in the Southern Hemisphere capable of producing 100% pure, un-oxidised fruit juice.The quality of the juice produced is of a standard unforeseen in Australia previously. Supplying the wholesale market only at this stage, Batlow Premium Juices specialises in premium Apple juice due to the our location in the famous Apple producing area of Batlow NSW, however we can press almost any fruit or vegetable inluding apples, blueberries, grapes, carrots and many more. The Plant

The plant consists of:

  • a hydraulic bin tipper/restacker
  • elevator
  • washer/sterilizer
  • sort tables
  • water bath with centrifugal elevator and dryer
  • a nitrogen blanked pulp mill
  • nitrogen blanked pulp storage tank
  • pulp transfer pump
  • nitrogen blanked 5 tonne rotary Opti press
  • juice transfer pump
  • 30,000 litres of nitrogen blanketed refrigerated stainless steel holding vats and tanker filling pump

The press itself sits on computerised electronic load scales that enables juice extraction rates and throughput tonnage to be fully monitored. The nitrogen blanketing technology was only released to the world market in October 2005 with the new Batlow plant being the first of type for apples.
